Washington State is one of the winners of the Race to the Top Early Learning Challenge grant competition through the Department of Education and Department of Health and Human Services. The focus of this initiative is on creating Quality Rating and Improvement Systems (QRIS) for early learning care and education programs serving your children.
The Childcare Quality and Early Learning Center for Research and Training (CQEL) is currently involved in the Washington State QRIS initiative, Early Achievers. CQEL is funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation and provides training and research on the quality of child care and early learning in WA state.
This project will be hiring for a number of part and full time positions related to this effort including Community Liaisons, Assessment Leads, Data Collectors, and Hourly Data Coders. These positions will be based in King County, Pierce County, Olympic Peninsula, Southwest WA, Central WA, Eastern WA and Northwest WA.
