Part Time Summer Paid Position – Web Designer/Developer
We are looking for a student to help us develop a web site for our UWT and First Creek Middle School Joint Monitoring and Stewardship Project! If you have some experience using Adobe Dreamweaver software we would like to hear from you! We can provide you with a template to use as well. UWT Environmental Science students and faculty teamed up with First Creek Middle School students and faculty in 2010 to begin monitoring a local creek, First Creek, located adjacent to the First Creek Middle School in Tacoma. Since then there have been several community, outreach and restoration events held to promote stewardship of this local creek. The web site is intended to share the water quality data collected by both UWT and First Creek Middle School students to the community as well as to showcase the restoration and clean up efforts done around the First Creek community. If you are interested, please contact Joyce Dinglasan-Panlilio via email at jdingpan at uw.edu or (253) 692-4823.
