The Graduate School, the Career Center, and the Alumni Association are pleased to present the eighth annual Career Symposium for Graduate Students and Postdocs. Getting Hired with a Graduate Degree: Tips from Employers
This event will explore the myriad employment options open to individuals with graduate degrees, and help students to learn strategies for making themselves competitive for those options. Employer representatives will discuss tips for landing interesting positions in large corporations, small businesses, non-profit organizations, government agencies, and universities. The event is free and no registration is required.

Grad Student & Postdoc Networking Reception
All UW grad students, professional students, and postdocs are invited to practice their networking skills and create new connections by talking with UW graduate-level alumni and business leaders about diverse career directions, effective job search strategies, potential job and internship leads, and more. Light snacks, beer, and wine will be served. The event is free and no registration is required.
