Pacific Marine Research is a non-profit education organization seeking employees to participate in a school field-trip program based in Seattle. The Marine Science Afloat Program runs seasonally spring and fall and features all-day Marine Science field trips on Puget Sound aboard ship, teaching marine science to students of all grade levels. A Marine Biology, Fisheries, Oceanography or Marine Science Interpretive Education background is required.

The UW Tacoma Environmental Program is housed within Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences. The Environmental Program offers the opportunity to complete either a BA in Environmental Studies or a BS in Environmental Science. Additionally, we offer a Minor in Environmental Studies, a Certificate in Geographic Information Systems (co-administered by Urban Studies) and a Certificate in Restoration Ecology.
