Scientific Technician 3 * 05925-12

This position functions as a crew leader for field activities involving intense data collection associated with monitoring and evaluation plans tied to the Chelan PUD HCP. Prepares resource information involving internal and external coordination with various fish management and other entities(including but not limited to PUD’s, USFWS, USFS, NOAA Fisheries and Tribes). Performs advanced technical scientific duties in the field and is required to exercise discretion in selecting or modifying existing research techniques as it relates to monitoring and evaluation of the efficacy and impacts of hatchery mitigation programs on naturally produced anadromous populations of the Upper Columbia River Basin. Supervises technicians in data entry and collection from filed activities.
