Metro Group LLC is seeking students to help carry out an energy efficiency program supported in part by Washington state utility companies. Tasks will include but are not limited to: learning and understanding rebate and incentives program from local utilities; creating teams to conduct sweeps of commercial utility properties and discover inefficient technology still in use; educating utility customers about opportunities for energy efficiency; and gaining valuable experience as an educator, environmental steward and consultant. Internship will last 3 to 4 months or longer if necessary, and generally 1 to 2 days out of the week. Travel expenses to and from work site will be compensated. Interns will receive a commission per signed contract (DOE) along with additional bonuses.
