Agriculture & Grazing Land Manager - N.R. Specialist 2

POSITION PROFILE:

Under the direction of the Columbia Basin District Manager, the Agriculture and

Grazing Land Manager is responsible for: 1) lease management of trust lands

throughout Grant, Douglas and Kittitas Counties, and 2) monitoring resource

conditions on agricultural and grazing lands throughout Grant, Douglas, Chelan,

Lincoln, Adams, Whitman and Kittitas Counties. Other duties include but are not

limited to:

· Negotiates, renews and administers lease contracts

· Develops resource management plans in consultation with lessee and

other affected agencies

· Monitors lease and resource management plan compliance

· Evaluates range management practices

· Completes rangeland and riparian evaluations

· Develops grazing plans and implements range improvements

· Prepares documentation for right of way and easement sales and

acquisitions
