This position is crucial in maintaining recreation sites and facilities, and, maintaining recreation and educational opportunities in a manner that allows for environmental protection and promotes public safety and enjoyment.
Primary responsibilities include the construction and maintenance of all recreation trails and facilities within Northwest Region, all aspects of negotiating and managing equipment and service contracts, and permits and licenses, and active participation in the Region’s outreach and education efforts including the volunteer program, organized events, user groups, neighbor and community education and the region’s law enforcement program as it pertains to public use.
