This position reports to the Assistant Division Manager for the Recreation Program in the Asset and Property Management Division. This position is directed on a day-to-day operational basis by the Director of Communications and Outreach Program. This position will work both in the office and out in the field. The Communications Consultant supports the department’s Recreation Program, Communication Group, and Region Recreation staff to write, edit, and develop a variety of communication products including news releases, fact sheets, OpEd pieces, and social media tools. Additionally, the consultant will perform general constituent outreach support and work under the guidance of State and Federal regulations, Agency policies and procedures, and applicable collective bargaining agreements.
