This position will assist the natural areas ecologist with grant-funded restoration projects on Natural Areas. Duties include (but not limited to): applying herbicides using a backpack sprayer, ATV, and other spray equipment, hand-pulling invasive plants, mowing and cutting vegetation with loppers, weed-eaters and push mowers, collecting native plant seed, collecting vegetation data, and mapping features in the field using GPS and/or aerial photographs.
