The Supervisory Fish Biologist will serve as the Program Manager of the Pacific Region’s Fish Health Program. The Region’s fish health program provides valuable support services that contribute to health, survival, restoration, and enhancement of fish and other aquatic species. This position will work with Fish Health Center staff to identify and implement efficiencies, prioritize workload, integrate work with other programs and partners, and address changing conditions. This position will supervise Fish Health Center field offices currently located in Ahsahka, Idaho; Lacey, Washington; and Willard, Washington. This position will develop and implement a strategic vision for the Region’s Fish Health program including workforce analysis; address emerging issues such as climate impacts; and identify and implement strategies to ensure effective fish health center operations.
