Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences Summer Research Internship – University of Washington, Stipend for Training Aspiring Researcher (Cordova, AK and Seattle, WA)

The STAR internship in fisheries and aquatic science is an undergraduate internship opportunity for a student interested in graduate studies in aquatic and fishery sciences. This 10 week internship (June 18th – August 17th) is designed to expose the participant to graduate level research, fisheries sampling techniques, and scientific communication skills. The selected participant will be mentored by a current graduate student from the School of Aquatic and Fishery Sciences at the University of Washington and participate in sampling of Sockeye and Coho salmon on the Copper River Delta in Alaska.
