The Reclamation Field Lead is a reclamation expert with in-depth knowledge of the Surface Mine Reclamation Act (RCW 78.44) and associated rule (WAC 332-18). It supports the SMR Program by supervising and training technical staff to conduct physical and aerial inspections of permitted and unpermitted mine sites. It conducts initial and follow-up enforcement investigations and makes recommendations for legal actions for the regulatory program.
