Seattle City Light is looking for two paid interns who are Juniors and Seniors studying Communications, Journalism, Public Affairs, Public Relations, Environmental Studies, or Public Policy. One position is also open to graduate students studying Communications, Journalism, or Public Affairs.
Promotional/Marketing Communications Intern
This internship will work with the public engagement team to coordinate community outreach to utility service area residents specializing in outreach to Seattle’s diverse immigrant and refugee communities, as well as to non-English and English-as-a-second-language customers.
External Communications Intern
This division develops relationships with customers directly via the utility’s website and social media channels, and indirectly through engagement with the media. The intern will report to the External Communications Manager.
