| Under the supervision of the Lead Fish Passage Engineer, this position is responsible for the design, contract preparation, and compliance of assigned fish passage crossings. This supports DNR in fulfilling its mission by providing professional level engineering to ensure that all regulations are followed and that each project is done in a manner that is consistent with the goals and objectives of the DNR. The primary duties of this position include: • Performs engineering survey and designs fish passable crossings, incorporating Forest Practices Rules, Dept of Fish and Wildlife regulations, and other applicable regulations and policies. • Prepares plans, cost estimates and specifications for culvert and bridge installations. • Responsible for administration, inspection and compliance of Public Works contracts and providing on-site engineering support for construction projects completed by the Agencies heavy equipment crews.. |
