The Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area is recruiting non-supervisory Resource Protection Park Rangers in their North District (approximately two positions) and their South District (approximately 1 position). Park Rangers are responsible for conducting patrols and field investigations, ensuring the safety of visitors, and monitoring the natural resources of a 131-mile long lake bordered by 312 miles of publicly-owned shoreline – all of which is available for public use. Historically, the rich fishery of the Columbia River was used for survival and prosperity, and today, Lake Roosevelt’s visitors enjoy camping, boating, fishing and hunting.
