The mission of the Waste 2 Resources (W2R) program is to reduce the amount and the effects of wastes generated in Washington state, and the Beyond Waste goal is to transition to a society that views wastes as inefficient uses of resources and believes that most wastes can be eliminated.
The program's Technical Services Unit in the Statewide Resources Section in Lacey, WA is currently looking for a Data Specialist (Environmental Specialist 2).

I think this is going to be a really good position for those who have taken up environmental management training in WA. I do hope that a lot of people take part of this reduction in waste for this state. Waiting for the Government to clean up is not the right thing to do. We should all go green.
