Summer Research Opportunity, Ecological Restoration – University of Oregon (Eugene, OR)

The University of Oregon is offering Biology 469: Ecological Restoration, a 2-week, 4-credit summer field course. Students will learn basic issues and techniques in ecological restoration, how to conduct and write an independent research project, and approaches careers in environmental biology. Students who have taken the course have enjoyed its outdoors, hands-on, practical nature, and many have progressed to internships, jobs, and academic programs with a restoration focus.  The course has served students from about a dozen different universities, and it is open to students or recent graduates from any academic institution.
