This position is the Deputy Field Supervisor (DFS) of the Yreka Fish and Wildlife Office (YFWO) with line responsibility for supervising all YFWO programs and activities in the mid-Klamath region of north-central California. Specific duties will include providing technical assistance and comments on official documents, correspondence, contracts, and acquisitions; assisting the Field Supervisor in the development and administration of the YFWO budget and carrying out expenditures according to applicable laws and regulations within budget allocations; and leading and directing the preparation of official documents prepared pursuant to the Service’s regulatory responsibilities and ensure they are in compliance with current policy and format.
