The UW Tacoma Environmental Program is housed within Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences. The Environmental Program offers the opportunity to complete either a BA in Environmental Studies or a BS in Environmental Science. Additionally, we offer a Minor in Environmental Studies, a Certificate in Geographic Information Systems (co-administered by Urban Studies) and a Certificate in Restoration Ecology.

Assistant Park Ranger I (1040 Position) - Mercer Slough Educ Ctr - City of Bellevue
The City of Bellevue is currently accepting applications for an Assistant Park Ranger I which is a part time 1040 position offered through the Bellevue Parks & Community Services Department Natural Resource Division. This position is a front line customer service position directly in contact with the public on a daily basis. The Assistant Park Ranger I provides programming, patrolling, marketing, staffing and environmental interpretive support for the Nature Parks and Visitor Center Program. The position reports to the MSEEC Park Ranger and is stationed at the Mercer Slough Environmental Education Center located at 1625 118th Ave SE. Tentative hours are Friday – Sunday, 10am – 4pm.
