HDR’s Bellevue, WA, office is looking for a Regulatory/Permitting Specialist to join our Environmental Program. The duties will include the following:
* Determining permitting requirements for major infrastructure projects such as water supply and treatment, wastewater, energy, transportation, and stormwater facilities.
* Preparation of permit acquisition and compliance plans, and permit process schedules.
* Preparation for, and participation in, public meetings/hearings as required by the various permit/approval processes.
* Preparation of federal, state, and local permit applications.
* Agency coordination and consultation as well as follow-up after submittal of the various applications.
* Assisting with the preparation of documentation to comply with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA).
In addition to working with the project team to coordinate permitting submittal requirements, you will also compile conditions and requirements resulting from the NEPA/SEPA and various permit processes to guide compliance activities during construction and operation of the projects.
