Description: The Port Townsend Marine Science Center (PTMSC) is an educational organization devoted to conserving our marine and coastal environment. PTMSC accomplishes its mission by providing an extensive menu of educational opportunities including professional development for teachers, on and off-site educational programs for school groups, residential programs for youth, citizen science programs, exhibits, and topical projects and lectures aimed at raising the general public's understanding of issues related to marine and coastal health.
The Program Director ensures that PTMSC's programs align with the organization's strategic direction. The position handles a wide range of program related responsibilities including oversight, administration and outreach, while actively collaborating with all staff to define the future direction of the organization. The position works directly with the Executive Director and supervises program staff.
